U.S. Drug Control Policy - Combatting the Global Opioid Crisis
From January 18 - 20, the VCWA virtually hosted 8 participants representing international organizations in Vienna, Austria, including the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC). The delegation met with representatives from the Vermont Department of Health Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs and the University of Vermont Wellness Environment (WE) to discuss initiatives led by state government and academic institutions to reduce drug and alcohol abuse.
