Women and Entrepreneurship I
From February 3 - 7, the VCWA virtually hosted 9 participants from Argentina, Bahrain, Jordan, Palestinian Territories, Peru, Sudan, and Tajikistan. The delegation met with representatives from UVM’s Women’s Agricultural Network (WAgN), Birnn Chocolates of Vermont, and Fat Toad Farm to discuss women’s leadership in agriculture, entrepreneurship, and small business development.
Investigating and Prosecuting Human Rights Violations
From February 12 - 22, the VCWA virtually hosted 10 participants from Bahrain, Burkina Faso, Czech Republic, Egypt, Georgia, North Macedonia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Somalia, and Tanzania. The delegation met with representatives from the Vermont Human Rights Commission, the Civil Rights Unit of the Office of the Vermont Attorney General’s Office, and the Vermont State Police.
