Rule of Law and the U.S. Judicial Systems
On December 13, the VCWA virtually hosted 4 participants from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The delegation met with representatives from the University of Vermont and the Warden Service Division of the Vermont Department of Fish & Wildlife to discuss refugee resettlement services and efforts to combat wildlife trafficking.
Supporting Students Through the College Admissions Process
From December 14 - 16, the VCWA virtually hosted 4 participants from Japan. The delegation met with representatives from Middlebury College, Saint Michael’s College, Vermont Technical College, and the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) to discuss international student admissions in rural and community colleges and post-secondary education financial assistance services.
