The Ministry of Education and Science including the regional stakeholders are particularly interested in improving teaching and learning outcomes on a national scale that requires simultaneous interventions at the following levels: 1) teaching/ learning in the classroom on competency based approaches and implementing student assessment to track student outcomes; 2) effective leadership and school management, 3) national policy and structural reforms to support school and classroom level changes and engagement and accountability of the school community, including public private partnerships.
