Kyona Benjamin

Kyona Benjamin is a teacher and alum of the Vermont Council on World Affairs 2019 Pan-Africa Youth Leadership Program where he served as an adult mentor. Originally from Dar es Salaam, Kyona also works for the US Embassy in Tanzania where he recently helped host the VCWA’s 2019 ChangeMakers Summit. Kyona is an expert Chips Mayai cook and enjoys sharing Tanzanian culture with Vermonters.
