The VCWA encourages Vermonters to come together and discuss global issues while enjoying local flavors; that’s why we created Global Talk, Local Taste.
Structured as a casual after-hours networking event, Global Talk, Local Taste gives community members an opportunity to meet other globally focused Vermonters without leaving the comfort of a Burlington restaurant or brewery. To drive the conversation, each Global Talk, Local Taste features special guests.
Join us on March 15th along with Global Leadership Program alumni and current participants and a delegation from Ukraine visiting Vermont as part of the Open World program.
The delegation of medical professionals from Ukraine is here for a program focusing on Organ Transplantation and the ICU. Beginning at 4:00 pm at Hula, the delegation will be giving a presentation on their work in Ukraine, specifically touching on how the war has impacted hospitals and healthcare resources in Ukraine.
