Day Two: Cultural Engagement
Day Two of our Virtual Conference is all about active Cultural Engagement. Get involved with the opportunity to extend your cultural competencies, practice cultural exchange, and learn more about our world and its peoples.

Film Screening and Director Q&A: Dodik a First Name or a Surname?
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Russian Language Class with Michael White
Want to get familiar with the language of Pushkin, Dostoevsky and Tolstoy? Are you trying to negotiate an oil-and-gas deal with Vladimir Putin? Would you like to impress the State Department with your knowledge of an officially-decreed “critical language”? Do you have plans to travel to the International Space Station? If you answered yes to any of these questions, get started by joining Michael White, a teacher of Russian at the high school and college levels for over 25 years, for a one-hour tutorial in the basics of this rich and fascinating language.
This class will pair well with our film screening on September 22.
